Ubicado cerca del Mercado Tongil de Geumchon, el Mercado de Geumchon es un espacio comercial que se  abre los días 1, 6, 11, 16, 21 y 26 de cada mes. Este mercado tiene una larga historia, fundado en 1906 con la inauguración de la línea ferroviaria Gyeongui, y se divide en dos partes: el mercado principal y el anexo. Cada uno tiene 200 m de largo, con un total de unos 400 m, y están llenos de puestos que venden diversos productos agrícolas, ganaderos y marinos, como verduras, frutas, carne y pescado, además de artículos diversos como ropa, ropa interior y calcetines. Los visitantes pueden probar tentempiés como tteokbokki, eomuk, bungeoppang (pan de frijoles dulces con forma de pescado), gyeranppang (pan de huevo) y gukhwappang (pan con forma de crisantemo). Este mercado se encuentra a 7 min a pie desde la Estación de Geumchon de la línea Gyeongui-Jungang de metro.
